Biography

Anahit Diez-Gyurjyan is an Armenian-born artist currently based in Switzerland. Her artistic journey began in childhood, with drawing and painting being a constant presence in her life—an escape, a space for reflection, and a deep passion. Although she initially pursued degrees in economics and finance and built a successful career in consulting, art remained a powerful force within her. A year ago, she made the decision to fully dedicate herself to her creative practice, finding a sense of fulfillment she had long sought.

Despite living in Switzerland, Diez-Gyurjyan’s Armenian heritage continues to be the foundation of her work. The bold colors and abstract forms she uses serve as a means of communicating her emotions and perspectives, reflecting the fusion of cultures that have shaped her identity. Her vibrant palette and abstract style are a journey through memories, evoking emotion and sparking the imagination.

In addition to her paintings, Diez-Gyurjyan collaborates with fashion brands, integrating her distinctive patterns into silk accessories such as scarves, blending fine art with wearable design.
