Biography
Lusine Baghdasaryan is an Armenian multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together visual storytelling and ecological reflection. Working across painting, installation, cyanotype, and video art, she creates deeply symbolic and emotionally resonant experiences. Her practice focuses on the poetic connection between people and nature—expressed through imagined characters and dreamlike atmospheres that speak to the soul.
Her creative path has been shaped by international residencies in Germany, France, and Saint Petersburg. In 2024, she received a grant from the French Institute in Armenia for a residency at La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille, where she further developed her approach to ecological storytelling and visual mythology.
Baghdasaryan’s work has been exhibited in galleries across Europe, including her solo exhibition Vias Maris (2025, Hay Art), which explored the spiritual symbolism of water as a healing and connecting force. Her recent projects—Sea Spirit, Renatus, and Reborn—reflect a growing universe of symbolic beings who serve as mediators between the natural world and human consciousness.
Through her art, Baghdasaryan invites viewers into a visual and emotional dialogue—a space where love, care, and respect for the Earth become the foundations for imagining a more harmonious future.
