Raised in an artistic family, Minas has always dreamed of creating his own world of art. He has been drawing, experiencing life, and exploring various mediums. He doesn't stick to one style, painting without limits. Nature, people, and positive relationships inspire him. Creating helps him understand life's ups and downs.
Minas Halaj graduated from the University of Fine Arts, Yerevan, Armenia in 2002 and relocated to the United States in the same year. He furthered his studies at the Art Institute of San Francisco in 2004 and now resides in Los Angeles. Blending classical education with contemporary influences, Minas' art emerges as a symphony of graphics, collages, and figurative compositions. Utilizing recycled materials and vintage textiles, he creates deeply complex works.
Minas' art is housed in esteemed museums worldwide, including the Mark Rothko Art Centre in Daugavpils, Latvia, and Mākslas Museums, Latvia, Bakersfield Museum Of Art. His intricately beautiful pieces have graced nearly 50 contemporary art exhibits globally, with many joining prestigious international collections such as Morgan Stanley Headquarters New York, NY, Sony Music Headquarters Beverly Hills, California, PepsiCo Company Collection, Dubai, UAE, and Princess Anita of Hohenberg Collection Vienna, Austria.
