Rafael Megall’s statement on his AKNEYE collaboration.
"Working with Akneye has provided a great opportunity to explore the intersection of physical and digital art. By integrating quintessential Armenian ornamental designs and fauna iconography into a phygital format, we are exploring a new realm of immersive themes, interpersonally linked to my own cultural experiences. This collaboration builds a new bridge in the expansive world of art, forming new ideals of connectivity and cultural preservation. It allows us to reinterpret traditional motifs through a modern lens, making them relevant and accessible in today's digital age while honoring their historical significance.
