THE DOCUMENTARY FILM "SARYAN AND VENICE" WAS SCREENED AT THE MARTIROS SARYAN HOUSE-MUSEUM

On July 14, the documentary film "Saryan and Venice'' was screened at the Martiros Saryan House-Museum. The first closed screening of the film took place exactly 100 years after the exclusive event of the prestigious Biennale, on June 17, at the AKNEYE Phygital Space located at Ramo de la Tana, 2124a in Venice.
Co-founder of Fastex, Vigen Badalyan, Executive Director of Fast Media, Margarita Grigoryan, Executive Director of Fast Bank, Garegin Darbinyan, Director of the Martiros Saryan House-Museum, Bella Isahakyan, Martiros Saryan's granddaughter, Ruzan Saryan, RA MoESCS Deputy Minister, Daniel Danielyan, Head of the Department for Modern Art of the Ministry, Svetlana Sahakyan, Founder and President of the "SARER" Cultural NGO, Erna Revazova, well-known artists and cultural figures were present at the event organized in Armenia.
Daniel Danielyan, RA MoESCS Deputy Minister, mentioned in his speech: "This year, for the first time, as a result of public-private cooperation, we have a second pavilion from Armenia thanks to the AKNEYE project. Fastex helped us implement our official pavilion, which is essential for the state and society, because, as you know, the Venice Biennale is the most important exhibition in the field of contemporary art."
Avetik Isahakyan's grandson, Avik Isahakyan, also spoke about this remarkable project executed with joint efforts: "100 years passed like a second: maybe it seems so in general time and space, but when you imagine what happened in those 100 years both in Armenia and in the world, it is really good that the Republic of Armenia was able to find strength after so many years, and the patron of arts and the Ministry organized that beautiful event depicting Armenia’s participation in the famous Venice Biennale.”
The speeches were followed by the screening of a film about Armenia's first participation in the 14th Venice Biennale a century ago through the efforts of Martiros Saryan. The full version can be seen at this link:
At the end of the event, laureates of international competitions, winners of the AGBU Grand Prix Elen Harutyunyan and Avag Avagyan, as well as violinist Ivane Yesayan performed pieces for piano and clarinet. The performances were accompanied by refreshments and networking.
