Description
This work of art is not merely an exquisite and stylish decorative element, but a profound and symbolic object that embodies the philosophy of time and human experience. This eye, created by the designer and artist Ernesto Marko, represents a unique synthesis of art and craftsmanship. Made from the finest Italian leather, it acquires its strength and beauty through a patented technique of coloring with Armenian brandy, developed by Ernesto himself. The brandy hue, imbued with centuries of history, lends the surface of the piece a warm, rich color and texture reminiscent of wood, evoking associations with ancient relics that preserve the spirit of the past. The use of the highest-quality Italian leather symbolizes durability and resilience—this is not just a material, but a living memory that reflects the strength and endurance of nature. Every detail of “Sguardo di Pelle,” from the perforations that add depth to the hand-stitched seams, is an ode to the highest craftsmanship, where each line on the leather seems to come alive, telling its own story. The concept for Sguardo di Pelle was developed by Gagik Tadevosyan, an Armenian artist known for his innovative approach to design and art. The designer for the project was Ernesto Marco, a renowned figure in the fashion industry and the founder of a luxury international magazine. Marco’s expertise in design, coupled with his role as a leader in the fashion world, added a distinctive flair to the project. Additionally, the embroidery work was handled by Armen, Ernesto’s brother, further enriching the collaborative effort.
