Terms and Conditions
AKNEYE is a project of eye sculptures, some of which carry glass bottles of various alcoholic beverages in place of tear ducts.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, ‘Artist’ will refer to the painter, and/or their representative, who is contracted to paint on the AKNEYE sculpture according to the following rules.
Terms and Conditions:
- Artists that wish to collaborate with AKNEYE must apply by submitting a portfolio either through the www.akneye.com or directly to the [email protected] email address, indicating the full name, residential address and phone number of the artist.
- The artist will receive a response regarding the status of their application (approved or rejected) within 10 business days after the submission.
- If the artist’s application is approved, they must then present a design proposal of the AKNEYE sculpture to the AKNEYE Membership Board by responding to the email within 5 business days after approval.
- The design proposal must describe every detail, as well as provide information regarding the intention and message behind the design.
- The AKNEYE Membership Board reviews the design proposal within 15 business days after receiving it.
- Upon second approval from the AKNEYE Membership Board, the artist will be contracted to paint on the AKNEYE sculpture in accordance with the design proposal.
- The AKNEYE sculpture is sent to the artist within the time limits agreed upon by the parties to the agreed address.
- After receiving the AKNEYE sculpture, the artist must paint it as indicated in the design proposal within 15 business days, and send it back to the address agreed upon by both parties.
- AKNEYE representatives may at any time, at their discretion, request updates on the progress of the creative process. The artist must send updates according to such requests.
- Once the sculpture is completed, it is sent to the AKNEYE Membership Board for final approval.
- After receiving final approval, the AKNEYE sculpture is shipped back to the address previously agreed upon. The AKNEYE sculpture is to be showcased in the stores where the AKNEYE projects are held.
- By submitting a portfolio, the artist agrees to these terms and conditions set by AKNEYE.
